MOMMY NOSE'S NUMBER ONE PICK OF THE MONTH!

I would like to add that there is another album called
GRACE by Jeff Buckley. This album is the most angelic and gorgeous music that
has ever been created. Jeff Buckley was an angel who came to earth for a very
short while. He gave us his voice and his indescribable beauty. You have not
lived until you have heard this GRACE ALBUM. If you would like to know more
about Jeff Buckley go to
www.jeffbuckley.com It is a most moving site.
BIRTHING CD'S ~ THE GREATEST THING SINCE SLICED POTATOES!
FOR MOMMIES TO BE ... Have you tried listening to a birthing CD? WHAT
IS A BIRTHING CD??? A birthing CD is a CD that guides a mother through the
beginning stages of labor and much like hypnosis aids the mother in putting
herself in a trance so that she can detach from the pain and instead focus on
the beauty of the labor and the event of birth and something easy and gentle.
I highly recommend getting a birthing CD and just using it to practice with. If
by chance you don't have the CD with you when you go into labor you will
remember the chants and words and visualizations and breathing techniques to get
you through. This is a lot more effective in my humble opinion than the Bradley
Method or Lamaze.
Where to buy a birthing CD? You can buy them here at the Mommy Nose
store next month!
AS FOR OTHER CD'S AND MUSIC ....
Let me now take the time to say that I do not recommend any
parent by Baby Einstein CD's! Why do you want to play watered down tinker
toy music for your baby when you can just as easily play them the real thing????
It's the real classical music that stimulates their brain, not bad take offs of
classical music. Don't waste your money on any "baby" classical music. It's an
insult to the artist who originally wrote the piece and it's an insult to your
baby's intelligence. If you are going to play Mozart for your baby - PLAY
MOZART! Play BEETHOVEN! Play VIVALDI! They are gorgeous!
I also recommend playing a little Jazz for the baby, a
little John Lennon, a few real children's songs (Old Macdonald Had a Farm) and
throw in a few foreign language music for good measure too! Mix it up -
But keep in mind to pick a good mix of about 20 songs and then play those 20
songs over and over again. Kids love repetition and it's how they learn.
Better to play 20 great songs for them a thousand times than to play 1000 songs
for them only once.
