That's right, you're
nauseated and pregnant and I'm going to talk about dieting? Am I
nuts? Yes, but that's not the point. Don't worry, it's the
greatest diet you'll ever go on. Here it is. For the next 9 months you
are going to eat all organic and I mean organic. No cheating with crap!
But you can eat all the organic chocolate and pie you like, ladies! Bring it
on! No Caffeine! No Decaf! Just stick to the Ginger Ale for the
next 9 months. You can drink all the fresh juices you want if you can
keep them down! The best bet is to try fresh squeezed APPLE GINGER
juice. Great for you and it will kill the nausea as long as they make it
strong enough - A lot of ginger please! DO NOT TOUCH FISH! It's
full of MERCURY and unless you want to risk watching your little kid suffer
from Cancer, Autism or some other horrible side effect of Mercury Poisoning
don't risk it.
So get
some omega 3 vitamins and take them along with your prenatal vitamins and you
have all the fish food nutrients your baby needs without the risk of giving him
cancer in the womb.
Easy on the red meat - You don't want to get Mad Cow and pass it
to your kid. It's already a mad, mad world without another mad kid in
it! I may sound silly & paranoid, but you see
it's like this for me - when it was my body I could care less. The minute
there was a little soul growing inside of me, nothing was okay anymore.
I was really anal about what I put in my body and now that I am breast
feeding it's the same story.
I gained 50 pounds
in my pregnancy - I weighed in at a whopping 190 lbs. Yeah, BABY!
Big mamma in the house! Baby Nose is five months old now and I am
setting the scale at 159.5. I am still a chunky chicken, but slowly
and surely the chub is coming off. That being said, if you want to
watch the doughnuts, be my guest. I just figured that when else in my life
would I be able to turn into a bowling ball and get away with it? And
I partially loved it and on the other hand I had to swallow a very many
moments of self loathing after gazing in the mirror for too long. I
think every woman goes through this when we get pregnant. First we love the
belly and then we hate the belly. Love the belly. Hate the belly. Love the
belly. Hate the belly. Hand me a big baked biscuit with butter!
What did work for me
was eating lots of fruits! Fruits helped kill the nausea and they feel
good. So do sprouts with hot sauce. Oh! Did I mention that pita and falafels
with hot sauce and Tahini dressing are the key to pure happiness while
pregnant? Try that on for size.
